Live Sent Week

Live Sent Weekend

Aug. 21 - 27

"You are Sent" is something we say every week at the Summit. How is God calling you to be engaged in the mission this year?

Live Sent Week is a week in the life of our church that will help us broaden our view about what it means to be engaged in missions both locally and internationally. We will be asking the question: How is God calling you to be engaged in the mission this year? We will be helping you answer this question in the Sunday Sermon, Sending 101 class, and in breakouts throughout the week.

Overcoming Barriers to International Engagement

Marsela Hughes and Chris Jacobsen

Some of us read Jesus’s commission to go and make disciples of all nations and think that it’s impossible for us. Others are eager to participate, but unsure just where to start. In this forum, we will get creative together in thinking through how each of us can make disciples of all nations no matter our life stage or life circumstances.
